Milan Design Week 2011

With over 2,500 exhibitors and more than 200,000 designers, artists and style aficionados, the Milan International Furniture Fair is perhaps the biggest annual design event in the world and Cinco was there to take it all in. With an amazing array of design events and exhibitions scattered throughout the city, the event draws thousands of visitors from all over the world.

Milan Design Week is one of the foremost stages for new trends in furniture and lighting design and after spending nearly a week taking in the fair and off-program exhibitions, one can see the common threads of new and surprising design trends in materials, colors and form. Milan is a place where trends are born and emerging designers are discovered.
